WATCH Jimikki Kammal Parody Song for Kerala, especially demonetisation, GST: Modi Parody Jimikki Kammal

Jimikki Kammal song is written by Abdulkhadar Kakkanad and sung by C H Fahad and Liji Francis. Kakkanad said the song is against the central government, criticising their policies especially demonetisation and fuel price hike. The Jimikki Kammal song has taken the internet by storm and is showing no signs of dying down in Kerala. Now, it has also entered the political arena with a parody song for the by-election for the Vengara constituency.

The song is written by Abdulkhadar Kakkanad and sung by C H Fahad and Liji Francis. Kakkanad said the song is against the central government, criticising their policies especially demonetisation and fuel price hike. It also criticises Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister K J Alphons. The lyrics deal with the development of the country which it says has gone for a toss, increasing unemployment and petrol prices, the PM’s foreign trips, GST, and a state BJP leaders.

Interestingly, the parody Jimikki Kammal penned by Abdulkhader Kakkanad and sung by CH Fahadh and Liji Francis, takes a dig at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government. Even newly appointed Union Minister Alphons Kannanthanam and BJP Kerala president Kummanam Rajasekharan are not spared. The song was penned after IUML representatives approached the musician, who is a popular parody writer in the state. The foreign trips of the PM, petrol price hike, increasing unemployment and GST get mentioned in the song.

The video of the song became an instant hit online soon after it was shared on the Facebook page of Musiland audios. In less than two days, it has been viewed more than 5.3 lakh times on FB alone.
