Popular dance reality show Dance Plus made a comeback on Indian television last night with a bang. The third installment of the reality show is Ek level up, as dance master and choreographer Remo D’souza had promised. Remo announced that this season he will have his own squad, consisting of some of the best dancers of the world, who will challenge the selected teams of the mentors.
Dance Plus 3 is different from other reality shows mainly because it really tries to find and push forward the best there is. And the fact that the mentors and judge of the show Shakti Mohan, Punit Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande, and Remo D’souza are more than capable dancers themselves certainly helps. Unlike other shows where we see random celebrities criticising people who know more about the field than them, Dance Plus 3‘s judges are passionate about their work, and know what they are doing.
The first two seasons of the show were a big hit and featured contemporary and international dancing styles. It was the first show of its kinds because the contestants were not stars but regular people who are passionate about dance. The show will also feature well-known talents like internationally renowned dancer Dytto, Fik-Shun, Birju Maharaj’s Group and Paul & Brittany.
