Bhavana starrer Vilakkumaram is all set to hit theatres on today. The film directed by dubbing artiste-turned-veteran actor Vijay Menon revolves around the story of how some children get branded their entire lives for a mistake they have committed once in their life. The film is touted to be heroine-centric with Bhavana in the lead role.
As per the sources Bhavana plays the role of a teacher and the movie will portray the problems she faces while discharging her duties. The script of Vilakkumaram is written by Nikhil Menon, son of Vijay Menon. Actors like Manoj K Jayan, Geethu Vijayan, Vinod Kovoor, Suraj Venjaramoodu are the others who portray important roles.
Bhavana made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Nammal in 2002 and went on to win the Kerala State Film Special Jury Award and Asianet Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in it. Since then, she has acted in a number of films including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Her last release was Adventures of Omanakkuttan, which hit the silver screens on May 19th, 2017 and she is currently busy with Adam John, a thriller that has Prithviraj playing the main lead. Apart from these movies, Bhavana is also busy with Oru Visheshapetta Biriyanikissa.
Director Vijay Menon will also be touching another important aspect which is about how some kids get labelled for life for some mistakes they commit at a young age. Written by Nikhil Menon, son of Vijay Menon, the film has Manoj K Jayan, Geethu Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and others in the star cast. Vilakkumaran is in the post production stage.
