Akshay Kumar’s movie, Toilet Ek Prem Katha is growing after the release. In the beginning many didn’t show interest which show the reduced collections. But now, many people are rushing to the film which is why the film has grossed more on its second day instead of its first day, Saturday being the second factor for the raise of income. As Per Reports Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, which was released in around 3,000 screens in the domestic market, has witnessed a decent amount of footfalls in theatres in the first show.
Toilet – Ek Prem Katha registered an 70 per cent occupancy in theatres across the domestic market in the first show saturday week end helps film to collect nice numbers at boxoffice. This has shown the increase in the number of theaters being occupied on Saturday. Toilet – Ek Prem Katha with Bhumi Pednekar lending him ample support, he has again managed to ensure a double digit opening which should only lead to bigger numbers in this holiday season that will last till Tuesday.
Superstar Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet Ek Prem Katha is inspired by true incidents endorsing the campaign Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of prime minister Narendra Modi. It’s a story where a wife leaves her loving husband just because he doesn’t have a toilet in house. Also there is holiday on Tuesday due to Independence Day, so it also has a bonus chance to show more potential.
Making a full fledged film on such challenging subject is not an easy task but director Shree Narayan Singh, master mind Neeraj Pandey and team have still tried it and offered a film which entertains & gives a strong message to the society imprisoned by old tradition of defecation in open. After 2 days, total collection of TEPK has become 30.25 crores at domestic box office.
