Mahesh Narayanan’s directional debut cant be get better than this as his movie Take Off is getting excellent reports from everywhere. The movie released on 24th March was getting a decent opening the first day with an attendance percentage of 70%. But the positive WOM really helped movie to reach over 90% attendance on the second day.
Take Off is a Malayalam thriller movie which is based on the ordeal of Indian nurses from Iraq in 2014. The movie is directed by prominent editor Mahesh Narayan in his directorial debut. Also, it stars Parvathy, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban in lead main roles. Take Off is written by Mahesh Narayan and produced by Anto Joseph, Shebin Backer, and Megha Rajesh.
In a recent television interview, Kunchacko Boban said that Parvathy prepares immensely for her characters and also does things he can’t even imagine to do, as an actor. For instance, he narrates an incident of a scene in which his character Shahid has to share the screen with a three-months-pregnant Sameera.
“I had to lightly touch her tummy for the scene and before the shoot, I told her ‘The tummy looks quite convincing.’ That’s when she told me ‘Hey no, it’s my original tummy!’ I couldn’t believe that she drank a few liters of water to balloon her tummy for the pregnant scene!”
