The film has been screened in 21 screens across Chennai and the film has had 196 shows in its first three days. With this the film has collected Rs.56,44,890, with an average occupancy of 85%.
Rangoon starring Gautham Karthik and newcomer Sana Makbul opened to positive reviews from all corners. The film has opened in 20 screens across Chennai and it has had 175 shows in its first three days. The film produced by A.R.Murugadoss has collected Rs.39,09,120 in its first three days and achieved 85% occupancy on an average.
The trade feels both the films have taken a Good Opening as far as Chennai Box Office in concerned. Their success depends on how they perform in the coming weekdays. Sathriyan has crossed the mark of Rs. 5 crores within 2 days of release, the film stands with total Rs. 9-9.5 crores* (approx) as the first-weekend box office collection.
