Sakhavu, directed by Sidharth Siva and featuring Nivin Pauly in the lead role will be hitting the theatres on April 15, 2017. The film, produced by B Rakesh under the banner Universal Cinemas has its script written by Sidhartha Siva himself. The expectations are good enough on this film and the teaser, trailer, and songs of the film have helped the film in creating the necessary good hype.
Sidhartha Siva is a film-maker with an excellent track record. He has never disappointed with his movies. All of his previous movies had some quality content and Sakhavu, is also expected to repeat the magic. More importantly, he is a National Award winner and Sakhavu is expected to be yet another different attempt from the quality film-maker.
Sakhavu is based on the story of the young political worker, Krishna Kumar and how his life turns upside down after a visit to a medical college. Nivin Pauly portrays the role of Krishna Kumar in the film. The film also also stars Joju George, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu and KPAC Lalitha. Sakhavu is slated to be released on Saturday in 115 screens across the Kerala.
The censorship of Sakhavu has been processed on Wednesday. The good news for the makers and fans of Nivin Pauly is that film has received a clean U certificate from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). Touted to be a campus-political entertainer, Sakhavu stars Gayathri Suresh, Aparna Gopinath and Aishwarya Rajesh in female lead roles. Veteran actor Sreenivasan portrays a significant role in the film.
