In the Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Kalyan Krishna’s directional project raked Rs 3.5 to 4.5 crores share from the box office on the first day of its release, which is the career-best opening for Naga Chaitanya’s film. The film had a moderate start at the USA box office at the ticket window, where it garnered $67k from the Premiere shows.
Previously his Premam movie used to hold the record with Rs 2.39 crores share on its opening day, but, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam performed 25% better than Premam to emerge as the actor’s career best opening. No competition from straight Telugu releases and targeting family audience played a key role in having a good start at the box office for Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam movie.
The film is made with the budget more than Rs 30 crores while theatrical rights are sold for whopping prices. Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam is the biggest opener in Naga Chaitanya’s career.The film collected $75000( 50 lakhs approx in rupee) with premier shows only.The USA box office collections of Premam exceeded the previous movies collection of Naga Chaitanya.
