Mohanlal’s 1971 2nd Day Collection: The film puts across the message that fighting wars

1971 War based Malayalam movie directed by Major Ravi starring Mohan Lal has hit the big screens today. Titled as 1971 Beyond Borders, movie featuring the story of Indo-Pakistan war in 1971, the movie has received immense response. The first look poster and trailer featuring the movie has created huge expectations in the audience.

Being the next movie after hattrick hit from Mohan Lal, the fans were very much enthusiastic and hopes that this will be another blockbuster. The movie was received well by the audience. On the first day, the movie opened with huge occupancy ratio. The 1st day collections of 1971 Beyond Borders are expected to be Rs 4.25 Crores.

1971 Beyond Borders is based on the true events of India-Pakistan war that took place in 1971, apart from the family story of Mohanlal’s character. The movie has been simultaneously made in Telugu as 1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu. Due to no big releases on the same day, total business of this film hasn’t been affected & is leading the race. We will see in the first weekend report that it showed expected performance or remained dull.
