Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always the first one to grab the attention of the people and others big people in the society. He always lures the film personalities and the other celebrities to bring them down to support for the welfare programmes being carried out by the government.
The latest is that the prime minister has sought the support of Tollywood big stars Mahesh Babu and Prabhas for ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ movement, saying their presence would help in connecting millions to the initiative. The latest initiative is to create an awareness among the public regarding the cleanliness. He felt that the film stars are really capable of making his initiative a grand success and personally wrote letters to the film stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Rajamouli and Mohan Babu.
Modi has written letters to celebrities of different sectors to take part in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as a part of which he wrote letters Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Mohan Lal, SS Rajamouli, Mohan Babu, Young Rebel star Prabhas and Mahesh Babu except Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan is very close to Modi and his not writing letter to PK has become the hot topic of discussion in T- Town. BJP leaders are saying that Modi did not send him letter as he didn’t take a clear stand so far.
Modi said in letter, “An inspiration to billions across generations and borders, Mahatma Gandhi recognised that our attitude towards cleanliness also reflects our attitude towards society. Bapu believed in achieving cleanliness through community participation.”
