Katamarayudu 11th Day Collection: Pawan Kalyan’s Film Crossed 70 Cr Telugu Box Office

Katamarayudu is an official Telugu remake of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar’s Veeram which was released in 2014. Audience found the remake very entertaining and showed big thumbs up to it. Critics have also reacted in favor and reviewed it with positive comments. Due to favorable reactions, the film gained strong word of mouth and remained steady throughout the opening week.

In the opening weekend, Kishore Kumar Pardasani’s directorial venture reported impressive occupancy and did the business of 36.25 crores (45.75 crores gross) from around 1000 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The weekend total was including 22.25 crores of Friday, 5.10 crores of Saturday and 8.90 crores of Sunday.

From overseas market too, the movie is getting quite good response and reported the business of 7.71 crores in 8 days. Now the movie is running in its second week and due to no big release in this week, witnessed decent growth in the weekend. On its 2nd Friday, it almost 30% of drop than previous day and did the business of 2.30 crores.

Katamarayudu managed to collect the amount of total 13.60 crores (17.15 crores gross), which was including 4 crores of Monday, 3.50 crores of Tuesday, 3.20 crores of Wednesday and 2.90 crores of Thursday. After the opening week, total collection of the film was recorded as 49.85 crores (62.90 crores gross) at AP/T box office. With this, total box office collection of the movie has become 56.70 crores on domestic box office.
