Ragava Lawrence’s Kanchana 3, part of the Muni franchise, will go on floors as soon as the FEFSI strike is called off. The pre-production work is underway and the shoot will begin in Chennai after the standoff is resolved. The film will have three heroines in the lead roles. Lawrence had earlier told Silverscreen that Muni 4 will have a female actor in the lead role.
As per reports Lawrence will soon start filming for the next installment of the series. The script of the movie which that goes by the title Naaga, is ready and the makers are currently casting for the movie. All the movies, though not connected with each other, revolve around Raghava, played by Raghava Lawrence, who gets possessed by the ghosts to take revenge on the people who killed them. Raghava and Kovai Sarala are the only actors to appear in all the installment of the series.
The pre-production of Kanchana 3, which is all set to hit the floors next month, is progressing at a steady pace. The female leads for the project are yet to be finalised, and if reports are to be believed, the film might feature two heroines. It will retain supporting actors such as Kovai Sarala, Sreeman, Manobala and Devadarshini who have been an important part of the Kanchana franchise.
