After the super hit Manjapai, director Raghava has finished his second film Kadamban which stars Arya and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. The film has been produced by the prestigious Super Good Films banner of RB Choudary. Arya plays a tribal in this film which is touted to be an action drama film dealing with the lives of and burning issues faced by tribal people.
Arya the handsome hunk has brought in the perfect physique for the character. A climax action sequence shot in Thailand with 50 elephants is said to be the highlight of Kadamban. The supporting cast includes Madhuvanthi Arun. Y.G.Mahendra, Super Subbarayan Mukesh Tiwari and Deepraj Rana among others. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the music score.
Kadamban has acquired a clean U certificate. The film scheduled to hit the screens on April 14, 2017 will be distributed by Arya’s The Show People banner. In December 2015, Ragava declared that he would rather make the activity experience film with Arya ahead of the pack part and that it would be set in the scenery of a jungle. Catherine Tresa was marked on an as courageous woman, while Yuvan Shankar Raja was not long after reported as the film’s music composer.
For his part in the film, Arya put on weight and donned a solid physique. The film started shooting in March 2016 in the woods of Kodaikanal and as portable system scope was elusive, the group asked for nearby administrators to set up four interchanges towers. In May 2016, the film’s real title was uncovered to be Kadamban.
For the shooting of the peak scene, 70 elephants were used.The soundtrack was created by Yuvan Shankar Raja with the verses penned by Yugabharathi like Otha Paarvayil, Uchimalai Azhagu, Saama Kodaangi.
