The crime-thriller and entertainer is boasted about more by some of the most renowned faces in the industry. The movie stars Maalavika Raj, Pradeep Rawat and Mukesh Rishi next to Ganta Ravi. Directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee and produced by Anil Kumar Kishan and Paruchoori Brothers, the movie sets high expectations on Ravi’s acting and his performance especially after a massive ego-boost given by mega star Chiranjeevi himself at the pre-release event.
Even as Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s son Jayadev is releasing tomorrow, there’s little buzz surrounding the film. Except grand pre-release event which saw the likes of Chiru, Mohan Babu, Raghavendra Rao, Allu Aravind gracing the do, the film failed to create any buzz. Poor trailer has dampened the hopes on the film further. On other hand, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham has opened to phenomenal numbers at the Box Office and sweeping records despite mixed talk, mixed reviews.
Will Ganta’s son Ravi Teja‘s debut would be smoother and manage to get the attention that is needed? Or will it go down without any buzz. With hardly four days left for the release, really nothing is happening on the film’s front. Despite having very experienced director like Jayanth C. Paranjee and being a proven subject the remake of Tamil superhit Sethupathi featuring Vijay Sethupathi, this kind of low buzz is certainly not expected.
As per trade analysts, Jayadev is capable of breaking records of previous hits at box office. Also received wonderful response in advance booking, almost all the shows of first weekend are houseful in its dominated regions of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. Considering all the aspects, it is expected to get overall 45% occupancy in India and its first day collection would be around 2-3 crores*. Its lifetime domestic total is expected to be in between 40-50 crores* from Indian screens.
