JHMS has opened to around 15% occupancy in Morning shows on day 5. If same samples are considered then drop is around 10-15% on Tuesday from Monday. Film already registered big drop on Monday and further drop on Tuesday is absolute heart breaking news. JHMS will show some kind of jump through the day. However, jump may not be huge as family audiences are skipping the film. Also, with proper weekdays happening now, ticket prices are back to normal.
JHMS will do majority of the business in first week itself. As there is big release coming in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha this Friday, there is not much to expect from second week onward. Had film word of mouth been positive then story would have been different One thing is certain that JHMS is not finishing anywhere close to 100 crore nett. Coming days will answer where lifetime business of JHMS is heading. Current trending suggest film lifetime box office collection is heading towards 70 crore nett mark. Even if film crosses, it will be not much after that.
The film has collected Rs 15.25 crores on Day-1 (Friday), Rs 15 crores on Day-2 (Saturday) and Rs 15.50 on Day-3 (Sunday), total fetched Rs 45.75 crores on its first weekend. The film didn’t grow over the weekend, But falls 50% on the during the weekdays. As per reports, The film collected Rs. 7 crore(Approx) on Monday. Now with its Day 5 box office collection is expected between 5-7 crore.
