Daggubati Venkatesh’s latest film Guru has successfully completed three days in theatres and remains strong on its third day at Worldwide box office. This film has been released on Friday i.e. 31st March 2017 across the globe. Film Received positive talk from Audience and film critics. It is the second biggest opener in Venky’s career after Babu Bangaram, which raked in Rs 7.10 crore gross.
The movie which starred Victory Venkatesh in lead role has topped the box office charts last week. The movie has released in very good number of screens all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Venkatesh’s role in the movie along with Ritika Singh‘s performance are the soul of the movie along with very good script and narration.
Guru is a sports drama directed by Sudha Kongara and it is the remake of director’s super hit film Irudhi Suttru / Saala Khadoos (2016)’ featuring R. Madhavan and Ritika Singh in lead roles. Venkatesh has reprised the role of R. Madhavan, while Ritika Singh is reprising her role in this remake. Nassar plays a crucial role in the film. S. Shashikanth produced the film under the Y NOT Studios banner.
Guru has collected more than Rs 10 Crores gross in telugu states in its first weekend. The movie has collected a share of Rs 6.85 Crores in all the areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Guru has also collected $140K from USA in its first weekend. The movie has released in around 75 locations in USA.
