Dulquer Salmaan CIA UAE, GCC Review, Live Update & Response: Comrade in America

Dulquer Salmaan’s much awaited movie CIA aka Comrade In America is gearing up for a wide release in UAE, GCC. The movie, directed by Amal Neerad has in the making for over an year. The hype surrounding CIA is humongous and it is majorly due to the teaming up of Amal Neerad and Dulquer Salmaan. CIA is expected to be a mass entertainer with Amal Neerad’s touch of stylish filmmaking.

From the teaser and posters, we can expect a commercial package with equal doses of romance, heroism and action. Dulquer Salmaan fans are waiting with bated breath for a trademark Amal Neerad movie. The actor commands a huge fan following in the state and when the two join, it is certain to set have a huge opening. CIA, written by Shibin Francis is a story about Aji Mathew, a Pala based youngster who travels to US in pursuit of his girlfriend.


Debutante Karthika Muraleedharan is playing the female lead. Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, John Vijay and Jinu Joseph are also part of the cast. Gopi Sunder is composing the songs and background score for the movie, which is produced by Amal Neerad’s own banner Amal Neerad Productions.

The movie, apparently based on true events, kicks off with a few politically-charged scenes that take cues from some recent developments in Kerala politics. It introduces Pala-based youth Aji Mathew (Dulquer Salmaan), a die-hard communist who follows the ideologies to the T. Be it digging graves for social outcasts, picking fights with unruly bus employees for harassing college students or lending a hand to those in need, Aji is the model communist, a hero of the masses
