Comrade in America / CIA Live Review, Rating & Audience Response: Dulquer Salmaan

Malayalam young actor Dulquer Salmaan is back to entertain Malayali audience with Comrade in America (CIA) which released on Friday, May 5th, 2017. It is his second film this year who last seen in family entertainer Jomonte Suvisheshangal. The film features Dulquer Salmaan, Chandini Sreedharan and Karthika Muralidharan in the lead roles, while Priyanka nair, Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, Dileesh Pothan, John Vijay, and Vishnu Gopal Nair are other cast.

Comrade in America (CIA) political romantic comedy is about Pala-based youngster named Aji Mathew, who is on a trip to the US and Mexico. The film features Dulquer who portrays the role of a student Ali John is a part of Students Federation of India (SFI). Newcomer Karthika Muralidharan essays the female lead and playing the role of Aji Mathew’s lady love Sarah, in CIA. Karthika is a trained dancer, is the daughter of renowned cinematographer CK Muraleedharan.

Aji Mathew is a Pala-based young man, who is a strong follower of Communist ideologies. Dulquer Salmaan plays Aji Mathew, a lovable courageous & modest youngster, who hails from Pala. He meets an NRI girl Sara, played by Karthika Murali, in his college, they fall in love regardless of their upbringing. Their moments of love did endure less, so does his happiness. But after some unforeseen events, Sara migrates to the US. The movie Aji Mathew’s journey to the USA in search of his lady love, and how he finds her.

Colllections Wise the film needs to face tough competition from Telugu dubbed movie Baahubali: The Conclusion which is faring extremely well at the box office by setting new records in the Malayalam Industry.As the movie is releasing in record number of screens in the actor’s career. It is estimated to surpass the opening day record of Dulquer’s Jomonte Suvisheshangal, which minting Rs 2.71 crores gross on day one of its releases, by grossing more than Rs 3.5 crores from the Kerela markets.
