Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan will be coming together to inaugurate the new film institute and preview theater of veteran director Bharathiraaja. The name of the film institute is BRIIC (Bharathi Rajaa International Institute of Cinema), Rajinikanth will be launching the institute while Kamal Haasan will be inaugurating the preview theater.
It is rather interesting to note that Kamal and Rajinikanth have earlier acted together in Bharathiraja’s 16 Vayathinile. Other than Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan, the event will also be attended by Vairamuthu, Mani Ratnam, Raadhika, Suhasini, Revathi and Rekha. The advisory board of BRIIC comprises of big names including Mahendran, Mani Ratnam, Priyadharshan, Nana Patekar and Rajiv Menon. The inaugural event of BRIIC will be happening tomorrow (April 14) in Chennai.
After giving several super hits such as Seethakoka Chiluka, Mudhal Mariyathai, Anthimanthaarai and others which fetched him a National Award for best feature film, director Bharathiraja will now train the future filmmakers. The Vedham Pudhithu director has decided to start a film school BRIIC, the Bharathiraja International Institute of Cinema.
Superstar Rajinikanth will inaugurate the Institute premises and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will do the honors for a preview theater facility. Mani Ratnam will be issuing the first application form for the students. Dignatories who are going to grace the occasion are Radhika Sarathkumar, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Radha, Revathi, Rekha and Vairamuthu among others.
