The most sensational and block-buster Telugu movie Baahubali 2 The Conclusion has slashed all the previous box office collection records created by movies of Indian Cinema setting a new higher limits for other movies to compete. Baahubali 2 which was released on 28th April 2017 on record breaking 9000 screens worldwide which includes 6500 domestic screens and 1100 USA screens and 1400 screens across rest of the world.
After an incredible opening week with all India collection of 540 crores, the movie has started the second week on a positive note. Bahubali 2 has an excellent start on its second Friday. The occupancy in the morning shows was around 40-45%. The Hindi version of the movie has retained around 3600 screens out of 4050 allocated to it last week. With the start of new week, the ticket prices are once again hiked at most metros and multiplexes.
Early trends suggest that Bahubali 2 9th day collection will be in the range of 19 to 21 crores. The movie has recorded the highest second Friday collection of all time. The record was earlier held by Aamir Khan’s Dangal which earned 18.59 crores on the second Friday. Bahubali 2 is the first movie to record 8 consecutive 20+ crore day in India. Talking about the all India collection, the movie has earned mammoth 540 crores (nett) in the first week.
Due to high demands, the flick witnessed an increase in the number of shows at some places due to its popularity and high demands. It may be a rumor but some reports said that there are chances of hiking the ticket prices here and there. On the last day of its first week, i.e., Thursday, the average morning occupancy was 45% with the higher number of screens. The early trends are suggesting that it will touch the mark of Rs. 20 crores as the Bahubali 2 9th day collection.
