After smashing all records at the box office in India and becoming the first Indian movie to cross Rs 1,500 crore worldwide in the shortest period of time, the makers of Baahubali — The Conclusion are now readying the hugely mounted film for a grand release in China towards the end of July this year.
Baahubali The Conclusion will be released in China by E-Star entertainment, the same distributors who had released the first installment. Trade analysts are expecting the film to touch a new estimated high of Rs 2,000 crore at the box-office after it is released in China. As Aamir Khan’s Dangal shattered box office records in China, the makers of Baahubali have the same the expectations from their film.
According to the reports, the sequel will have a newly edited version for the international market. The makers have once again roped in the famed editor of The Incredible Hulk, Vincent Tabaillon to edit the international cut of the sequel. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will be distributed by the same distributors who had released the first part- E-Star Entertainment. They are also planning to have a larger release as the first part had released in 6000 screens.
Baahubali: The Beginning released in over 6000 screens in China when it released in 2015. Reports suggest that the makers are planning for a very grand release of the film in China this time. Baahubali 2 will have a new International version, which will be edited by a noted Hollywood editor. As per trade experts, Baahubali 2 is very likely to create history in China too.
