There’s no stopping to SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion at the box-office. The film that opened to a thunderous response has had a historic run in the past seven weeks. According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has minted Rs 2 crore nett within 5-days of its seventh week.
The first week saw a roaring response from the masses with collections as high as Rs 246.47 crore followed by Rs 142.52 crore in its second week, Rs 69.43 crore in its third week and Rs 29.11 crore in its fourth. The fifth and sixth week saw Rs 12.41 crore and Rs 5.38 crore earnings respectively. Baahubali 2 started the journey on an earth shattering note and registered the business of total 1018.60 crores in last six weeks nationwide, which included 506.53 crores from Hindi and 512.07 crores combined of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam screens at domestic box office.
With this, total collection of Baahubali 2 after 47 days, has become 1023.41 crores (Hindi 508.63 Cr | TTM 514.78 Cr) from Indian screens. From overseas box office too, the movie has reported impressive business so far. Baahubali 2 stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati as warring brothers who fight for the kingship of an ancient kingdom. The film also features Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj.
Running in it’s seventh week, Baahubali 2 still has considerable hold over the audience across the country including all the versions. The movie was released with enormous buzz and got overwhelmed response from everyone. As a result, it emerged as the biggest blockbuster of all time in Indian cinema.
