Allu Arjun is riding high on progress with his most recent discharge Duvvada Jagannadham netting Rs. 100 crore in the cinema world inside seven days of its discharge. By chance, this is the fourth film of the star that has achieved the prestigious club. Not very many Telugu movies have figured out how to net Rs100 crore inside the primary week in the cinematic world and DJ is one among them.
Now makers of Duvvada are planning to release the movie into Malayalam. We already know Allu Arjun has a great following and market in Malayalam as well, as got a nickname in Malayalam as Mallu Arjun. Already, the dubbing works are completed and will release on 14th of July in Kerala. After the return to India, Allu Arjuna and team will be heading to Kerala for the promotions of the film.
DJ has stood up particularly well in comparison to the Salman Khan drama Tubelight, which opened on the same day. Although the Hindi-language Tubelight opened on nearly four times as many screens in India and had a far wider reach internationally as well, the Telugu-language DJ has kept pace nicely, earning only about one-third less than the big-budget Bollywood picture.
Duvvada Jagannadham tells the story of a police officer who disguises himself as a Brahmin cook to investigate a case. It was directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju for his production company Sri Venkateswara Creations. The prolific songwriter Devi Sri Prasad (Veeram, Puli) composed the film’s score and Pooja Hegde co-stars.
