Adam Joan Live Review, Update & Story Plot: Prithviraj’s Adam Joan romantic thiller, Kerala Audience Response

Jinu Abraham‘s upcoming romantic thriller Adam Joan was shot at a turbulent time in Mollywood, with many raising concerns about the safety of our artistes in the industry. Regardless, the few teasers, songs and posters of the film that are out has already raised expectations about the movie to be an entertaining flick. The actors, who came into the industry around the same time, are also great friends off screen. We hope that their chemistry will benefit Adam Joan too, as it hits screens on September 1.

Prithviraj plays Adam Joan Pothen, a suave and smart planter running his family business. We can actually draw some parallels between Adam, the first man on Earth, and this character. While Adam lives in the garden of Eden, Adam Joan wants to create an Eden in the high ranges. Adam disobeys God and commits a sin, for which he is made to repent. In the same way, the character in the movie commits a sin and he sets out on a journey to repent, says Jinu. Major portions of the movie were shot in Scotland.

An assistant director and script assistant to Madhu Muttom in the movie Bharathan, Jinu says that he didn’t plan to turn director with Adam Joan. It’s not that I had this story with me for a long time and I decided to direct it one day. The script is the strong point of any movie. In this case, the script gave me the confidence enough to direct it, says Jinu.

Jinu V. Abraham calls his directorial debut, Adam Joan, a film with many layers. There is romance, family ties, emotions and lots of thrills. It is neither a horror film nor a revenge drama. It has a subject and treatment hitherto unexplored in Malayalam cinema, says Jinu, who made his mark as a scenarist with Masters and London Bridge.
